So, it looks like I’ll be interviewed on CBC’s On the Coast show, this afternoon at around 5:40 PST today, thanks to a referral from Kris.
I’ll be asked about Craigslist and what kind of scams you might run into on it, and so forth. The topic is news-worthy, I suppose, because of the recent West Jet credits fraud that was perpetrated on Craigslist.
It sounds like the usual “standard human activity + Internet = News Story”, but I do think that having the chance to warn people about potential scam techniques is a good thing. I’m going to dress real nice; I don’t want Priya Ramu to think I’m slovenly.

Barry Glassner, Author of the Bestseller the Culture of Fear, asked to Hop Studios to develop a web presence for his Non-fiction work The Gospel of Food. In this new book Barry turns a critical eye on eating, food culture, and it’s place in society. With the subtitle Everything You Think You Know About Food is Wrong we’re betting he’s uncovered at least a few incongruent ideas.

Barry wanted a clean site, but with a little extra spice thrown in! Hop Studios developed a splash page that included a interactive animated book and carried soft gradients throughout the site. The final result, barryglassner.com is easy to digest, and showcases the book nicely.
