Susie has spoken at the BlogHer conferences for several years, since the first BlogHer conference in 2005. 

BlogHer is an organization that supports in women in all the kinds of blogging ventures they undertake, from professional networking to mommy blogging. Susie’s first talk at BlogHer 2005 was on the $$ and Sense panel, speaking about the use of blogs as commercial ventures. It got people riled up!

In 2006, Susie participated on a panel on getting your project off the ground—it takes more than just a great idea, after all! And in 2008, Susie will be at BlogHer Business, moderating a panel called “Moving From “Should” to “Can”, which will look at how some of today’s successful community blogs are building readership.
