The California College Brain Trust is a site belonging to a group of collegiate veterans who offer high-level consulting services to colleges and universities. They follow a collaborative assessment process with the end goal of affecting changes to infrastructure, policy, and the like. 

CCBT did not have an existing site. When we started the project, we were given existing print materials for a brochure, and we based our design on that. We decided not to match the print materials exactly, but instead to create a “Webified” version that have the same aesthetic and feel, but still was first and foremost a Web site, not a printed brochure.

The California College Brain Trust came to us as an off-shoot of another client of ours, The McCallum Group Inc., which we did in co-operation with Judy Mikalonis of Verbulant Creative. We have worked with Judy previously, and as usual she was a pleasure to work with.

Return and ongoing business makes up the bulk of our work at Hop Studios; we still do regular work for some of the very first clients who hired us.
