The Los Angeles Times is one of the America’s largest daily newspapers, with a circulation of over a million.

Travis Smith and Susannah Gardner have worked with, and for, the Los Angeles Times for 10 years starting in 1995, when we helped launch their first Web site.  Susannah was the first Multimedia Director for the newspaper, and started the very first audio podcast we know of, when she got one of the paper’s sports writers to call in twice a day and record a Web site message for the 1996 Nagano Winter Olympics.

Travis Smith started as an intern and ended up as Deputy Editorial Director of the Web site, supervising a staff of a dozen people.
