Wendy Mogel is a nationally known clinical psychologist, and the author of bestselling parenting book, The Blessing of a Skinned Knee. She came to us after an excellent recommendation of our work by her agent (whom she has in common with fellow Hop Studios client Christopher Noxon). At the time she had an existing site at wendymogel.com, and was interested in having the design updated. Wendy wanted the new site to be user friendly, and the ability to make changes to content without the help of a web development team once the site was launched.

First off we set Wendy up with ExpressionEngine as we felt it would best suit her needs in ease of use as a CMS and blogging platform, and transferred the existing flat HTML files from her original site. A personal blog and an events blog were new additions to the site structure, as well as an easy to update articles list. A working template system was also created for the other section pages, with an overall new design that is friendly, easy to use, and clean. Wendy and her assistant Kara have happily been adding new content since the recent launch, and we wish them all the best with the new site.
