Jim Benning and Michael Yessis had a vision: a travel Web site about travel travel that places.

They started their journey with a simple publishing system designed just for their purposes, but ran up against wall after wall as they had new ideas for the site. They came to us for a total redesign of the site’s look and feel, as well as an overhaul of their publishing tools

Working with Jim and Mike, we brought this Web site up to modern site standards, implementing RSS feeds, blogs, the powerful CMS ExpressionEngine, a mailing list, search tools, content categorization, CSS-powered design, easy-to-use templates, user registration, commenting, and contextual ads.

In 2007 their journey took a new turn when the site was acquired by the Travel Channel. What’s next for World Hum? Stick around and find out!
