GET THIS WHOLE LIST IN A HANDY OPML FILE

Earlier this week I wrote about an idea for a mixed CD swap contest.

I was hoping for 7 people to compete. So far, I have 3 confirmed and one maybe.

But when I got no additional responses, I looked into it a little more deeply, and discovered that, lo! My column had not successfully been emailed since July 1! Apparently, when upgrading my ISP account in early July, my mailing lists were destroyed. And unrecoverable. Gotta love those ISPs.

Now, I'll take the fact that no one -- no one! -- told me they hadn't been getting my emailed writings/rantings as a sign that you were really glad for the break. In that time, I've written about 11 items. See what you've missed.

Tonight, I've recreated the subscriber list from old scraps of paper and such, I hope, which is why you're receiving this. But if by accident I've included you and you really don't want to be on this list, unsubscribe by simply replying, or by going here.

Please let me know if the list behaves improperly -- the configuration is regurgitated as well. And watch for much bigger news in the following two days. (This is what's known as a teaser!)
