I went tonight to see the band at crowded, hip and service-poor bar The Whip. The band was great -- they're managed by Kris Krug.
I, of course, forgot to get the name of the band. But when I find it, I'll let you know.
I luckily found an empty chair at the table with Jeremy Wright and Arieanna-and-Ianiv, so it was like a super mini blogger meetup, too.
(Vancouver blogger meetups regularly happen at the Whip, in case you're interested. In fact, Hop Studios is sponsoring the next six months of Blogger meetups, it just so happens.)
Kris recently moved back to Vancouver from the San Francisco area, and will be co-writing Susie's next book.
He's been hanging out at our place recently, using the wifi and working on his chapters. It's been fun.
Oh, why did I call The Whip "service-poor"? It took at least 45 minutes from the time I arrived to the time the waitress even came back to our table -- and that only happened because I got up and starteed roaming around, looking for her.
