This is such a wonderful world.
Susie came back from San Francisco today. She flew back on United. After she picked her bag up from the baggage carousel, she noticed she'd lost her baggage claim ticket. So she walked up to the security guard at the exit and said, I lost my claim ticket, but this is my bag.
The security guard said, Looked at the airline's bag tag, which said "S Gardner" and said "Mrs. Gardner, do you have any I.D.?"
Susie said yes, and went to get the ID out of her backpack, which she was wearing. She was shrugging the sack off her shoulders when the guard said "Oh, here's some ID right here" and pointed to the name tag on the suitcase.
Susie said "Oh, yeah, thanks," and the guard let her leave the baggage area.

On the radio last night, I heard an ad for overnight Viagra service. You can call an (800) number, and an on-call doctor will issue you an immediate prescription for Viagra, and they will mail it to you, or for an extra change, Next-Day Air it to you.
I guess Fed Ex's old campaign still rings true: When it absolutely positively has to be there overnight.

I'm working in a beautiful green and brown building located on the Miracle Mile. in L.A. Palm trees 60 feet tall sway over the sidewalk outside the offices of Variety. We're across the street from the LA Brea Tar Pits and just down the road from the Petersen Automotive Museum. My drive to work is scenic and not that busy for my work hours (noon to 9). On a warm day, cubicle dwellers stream out of the building into the courtyard with the authentic Starbuck's coffee cart and sit by the modern unmatched concrete fountains, soaking in the sun's happy rays.
