Kerry by 22 electoral votes...
Posted by craig at 09:27 PM on October 28, 2004Kerry wins popular, Bush wins electoral.
Posted by Josh at 11:19 PM on October 28, 2004Could that really happen again?! That would be the worst possible scenario.
Posted by Travis at 12:53 AM on October 29, 2004Yes, I think it will be pretty close. But I don't think Kerry will be able to pull it off. Too bad.
Posted by Jason at 07:15 AM on October 29, 2004I'm completely incapable of making an objective prediction here -- anything I said would either be my hope or my fear talking. They're both so big there's no room for anything else.
But I suspect we'll never know who "won." The White House will go to whomever has the craftiest legal team.
Posted by byrneout at 09:29 AM on October 29, 2004Hawaii's 4 electoral votes put John Kerry over the edge and into the White House! ALOHA!
Posted by Jason U. at 11:47 AM on October 29, 2004Hawaii's 4 electoral votes put John Kerry over the edge and into the White House! ALOHA! P.S. The paper towels add character to your kitchen...thumbs up!
Posted by Jason U. at 11:48 AM on October 29, 2004I have to agree with byrneout... I hope for Kerry but fear it might be Bush. In one of the billion polls out there, it actually says Hawaii is no longer in the Kerry column.
As for the paper towels, they don't add nearly as much character as that Diet Coke can.
Posted by Debbie at 12:51 PM on October 29, 2004Click on the URL for my paper towel holder choices (the first two, not the one on the right).
I want Kerry to win, so that's my prediction, but I'm worried that the electoral college will work against him.
Posted by naomi at 05:40 AM on October 30, 2004I think Bush will win because he can actually lose in the "battleground states" and still win the election whereas Kerry doesn't have that luxury.
However, if Bush loses, I forsee a reverse scenario of the 2000 election, where in this case Bush will win the popular vote and Kerry will win the electoral college.
You heard it here first.
As for the paper towels, I vote no.
Posted by Garth at 04:59 PM on October 30, 2004i'm feeling pessimistic, so i predict g. bush. either way, i plan to drink heavily.
