I Spend My Time Reading

Instead of writing, I spent tonight reading blogs, articles, random web dust.  It’s too bad, because I have so much I want to say these days.

Meat and Meetings

Susie and I had a lovely dinner with Zak and Mandy tonight.  Memphis Blues is truly where many animals give their last and best.  Travis + smoked meat = happy*happy!

Refinding My Voice

So, if you read the most recent entries on this blog, you’ll stumble across Something Awful, something that I think is truly shameful, and almost unforgivable.  They’re boring. I mean, come on: “My Mac has been running for 9 days?”

Safari FOUC (Flash of Unstyled Content)

If you’re looking at this page in Safari, chances are you saw, while the page was laoding, a poorly formated page with black text before it suddenly fell into place.  That’s called the CSS Flash of Unstyled Content (FOUC) and I can’t find any way to stop it.

Big Day Out

Today at 5 p.m. was the first time I’ve left my building since Wednesday.  I did go down to the lobby on Friday to get the mail—Susie did it for us on Thursday.
