Having a Vacation in Colorado

Today, I went dirt bike riding for the first time.

I didn’t die.

I did wear a bike helmet and running shoes instead of flip flops.

So I went to dinner at Raincity Grill and thought it over some.

The Omnivore’s Hundred

This meme comes from Dog of the Future. It’s The Omnivore’s Hundred—100 foods that every gastronome should eat, according to “some guy named Andrew”. I actually disagree with a few items, but overall, it’s an interesting list, and the only omissions I see on it are shark and ceviche, and you might argue for dog. And what’s up with PB&J and pocky? Overheard

“Work saves us from three great evils: boredom, vice and need.”

...who said it?

“A third of high school graduates, along with 42 percent of college graduates, never read a book after they finish school. Eighty percent of the families in the United States last year did not buy a book.”

...who said it?

“All things are difficult before they are easy.”

...who said it?

“All growth is, by its very definition, not sustainable.”

...who said it?

“We’re Justin and Dave, and this is our improbably, bacon-flavored story...”

...who said it?
