It was so good, so easy to use and so pleasant, that I bought a CD just because it would have been rude not to, like when someone offers you a homemade cookie when you're already full. Go ahead and try it.
ps. I bought an album by Jon Brion.
“The superior man contains the means in his own person. He bides his time and then acts. Why then should not everything go well? He acts and is free. Therefore all he has to do is to go forth, and he takes his quarry. This is how a man fares who acts after he has ready the means.”

“As in 2007, the average U.S. worker has 14 vacation days this year. Just across the Canadian border, our counterparts get an average of 17 vacation days annually. But if you want a real “vacation envy” complex, consider the vacation banks of European workers. Yeah! Both CDs I’ve bought from cdbaby were from independent musicians whom I’d met at some point in the past. After each purchase, I received a personalized email from the artist (Darryl Purpose in one case, and Bea in the other) thanking me for buying the CD, and citing the city and venue where they had met me. I know that’s just as much a function of the artists as the CD store, but there’s still something really special when that can happen. I’ve yet to receive any emails from people whose books and CDs I’ve bought from Amazon—even the people I know.
