It rained like hell today. It was my fault. The day started out fairly clear, but I went and got my car washed.
It was one of those automatic car washes.
I really like them, but they don’t actually do that great a job. I prefer hand wash, but I couldn’t find a handwash place. Maybe there’s not as much call for car washes in Vancouver (40 days straight rain) as there is in Los Angeles (40 days of rain a year).
Everything was going fine until the evil spirits attacked. Do you see the scary ghost face in that swirling demon brush? Crazy!

You Americans are so mean. Please don't invade me for saying that.
Darren, yeah, I've got sweet sweet wheels in the form of a '98 Jetta.

Hey Travis, I haven't actually used them, but there is a place in Kits that does hand wash your car: M & J Car Wash. It's at 1521 W. 4th Avenue (near the Granville Street Bridge).
There's also a place over near 6th and Columbia (near where I work) that a couple of co-workers used. They did a full wash and clean of the interior for a fairly reasonable price and the guys were happy with them. I'll try to remember to check it out and let you know tomorrow.

The other place I mentioned is called Allcare, they're on Columbia between 5th and 6th Avenue and their phone number is 604-879-1384. They do hand washes, cut polishing, detail work, the lot. I know that both of my co-workers who used them were impressed with the job they did and the pricing. I think they had a reasonable (but not cheap) price for a full wash and cleaning of the interior...best to call to find out.
