Safari FOUC (Flash of Unstyled Content)

Today at 5 p.m. was the first time I’ve left my building since Wednesday.

I did go down to the lobby on Friday to get the mail—Susie did it for us on Thursday.

On Friday, we launched a H-U-G-E project that we’ve been working on for a year.  I’ll have much more to say about it on the Hop Studios blog on Monday, but for now, you can check out www.j-learning.org and marvel at all that it is.

Why did we go out today?  Well,m some friends were doing a gi-normous run to IKEA to buy new stuff for their new apartment, and we thought it would be fun to go shopping there without any particular need th fill—which means no particular piece of expensive furniture to bicker or hem and haw over.

We ate at the Ikea cafe, which is so cheap and so good—OK, not THAT good, but really cheap.

My sister Virginia’s coming into town real soon, to stay for a couple days.  I’m looking forward to it.

Did I mention how nice it is to be blogging again?

“Watch your step as you exit the train, and if you’re late, just remember that life is a lot like being on this train: we may not be there yet, but we’re getting there.”

...who said it?

“There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo. Please use in that order.”

...who said it?

“Description: MySQL server has gone away”

...who said it?

“According to Golf Digest, from 1996 to 2007, Woods made $769,440,709. Golf Digest predicts that, by 2010, Woods will become the world’s first athlete to pass one billion dollars in earnings.”
