Travis Smith: my resume, bio and photos back to the main blog page

April is shaping up to be a big travel month.

We’re in Los Angeles for a wedding, then in Hawaii for a week, then in Los Angeles for a week, then in New York for about 5 days.  Hawaii is a definite vacation (we’re going on the honeymoon), but the week in Los Angeles will be filled with clients and projects.  In New York, we’re attending a conference about user interfaces and designing useful Web sites (and user-centric company cultures).  We also plan to see Susie’s parents while we’re in town.

Last time I was in New York, George and I had a blast. This time should be equally fun.

If you’d like the specific dates, let me know—I’m not thrilled about on posting them on the blog.

Overheard

“I swore with my hand on the Bible to uphold the Constitution. I didn’t swear with my hand on the Constitution to uphold the Bible.”

...who said it?

“Buy anything you want at the grocery store; cooking is always cheaper than eating out.”

...who said it?

“There are two things in this world that take no skill: 1. Spending other people’s money and 2. Dismissing an idea.”

...who said it?

“Violence is a choice a man makes and he alone is responsible for it.”

...who said it?

“Oh boy! Another great opportunity for personal growth!”

...who said it?

Where in Hawaii are you going? I'll give you some restaurant suggestions if you're heading to Honolulu...
