Travis Smith: my resume, bio and photos back to the main blog page
Tracker Pixel for Entry

I got back from holiday today.  I left on Dec. 28 and was gone for 5 days.

Yes, that’s 27,000 messages.  Don’t worry—most are spam.

Overheard

“I swore with my hand on the Bible to uphold the Constitution. I didn’t swear with my hand on the Constitution to uphold the Bible.”

...who said it?

“Buy anything you want at the grocery store; cooking is always cheaper than eating out.”

...who said it?

“There are two things in this world that take no skill: 1. Spending other people’s money and 2. Dismissing an idea.”

...who said it?

“Violence is a choice a man makes and he alone is responsible for it.”

...who said it?

“Oh boy! Another great opportunity for personal growth!”

...who said it?

I feel honoured that my new years email was responded to at all, given how much email you had to sift through.

Wow! That's a ridiculous amount of e-mails. I really do hope that most of them are spam. Thanks for visiting, it was awesome!

I said, "Noriko, guess how many emails Travis had waiting for him when he got back from 5 days of vacation?" She says, "a million?" "No, not a million..." "A hundred thousand?" "No, not a hundred thousand, but twenty-seven thousand. That's a lot!" She shrugs her shoulders.

You'll have to do better, I'm afraid, Travis, to impress Noriko. Her own daily spam barrage has apparently overloaded her spam-surprise-receptors... wink

Awesome to have you back, by the way!
