Travis Smith: my resume, bio and photosback to the main blog page

“In the 1960s, baboons were thought to be the key to understanding human evolution because the only major apparent difference between baboons and humans, was that humans hunt and baboons don’t. Hunting was thought to be the crucial skill which made us human. Unfortunately for this theory, it was then discovered that baboons do, in fact, hunt. Baboons are no longer thought to be a useful model for understanding humans.”
