Be Aware: Canadian Mail Delivery May Stop After 9/26

We anticipate a possible strike by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers effective Wednesday, September 26, 2018. If the strike occurs, Canada Post mail carriers will be participating, which means there will be no mail delivery. This will affect mail delivery across Canada, even if you post your letter from another country.

Please plan ahead if you normally send your invoice payments to Hop Studios by snail mail. This might be a great time to think about paying online! All of our invoices include a link to make your payment online using PayPal. Or, we can send you a request for payment directly from PayPal (a 4% fee applies); this option will allow you to pay directly with your credit card.

If you’d like to transfer funds from your bank to ours, please contact Hop’s office manager, .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), who can help you get set up with the banking particulars required to do a transfer. For our Canadian clients, we do accept email transfers.

Alternatively, you may use couriers, UPS, Fedex, and other private carriers who are unaffected by the strike.

Should the union and Canada Post reach an agreement prior to 9/26, the strike will not occur. You can keep track of the negotiation status on the Canada Post website.
