We’re again happy to report that Truthdig has won two fresh awards, this time from the Los Angeles Press Club. They were tapped in two categories:
“Online Sports / News / Feature / Commentary” (yes, that’s one category) for a piece written by Mark Heisler, and
“Website, Exclusive to the Internet” for their site as a whole. The judges said, “Good looking, interactive and deep website. Lots of work goes into this site and it shows.”
This pairing of awards clearly demonstrates the Hop Studios philosophy: when you start with great building blocks (stories, videos, photos, comments…) and you publish those blocks with a great design and a professional tool set, your website will get noticed and make waves.
