Gawain Weaver provides conservation treatment and consulting services to museums, galleries, collectors, historical societies, libraries, and individuals. His site also offers a range of education opportunities and products, including workshop and sample sets.
We’ve enjoyed working with Gawain in both large and small ways to improve both the public face of his website, and also some internal features of ExpressionEngine, the content management system that runs his site.

We worked together with Gawain to redesign his Workshops page to better highlight both online and in-person options, as well as testimonial feedback.
With such a beautifully designed site already in place when Gawain became a client, it was a no-brainer to make the site responsive and mobile-friendly.
We built a before-and-after gallery to highlight Gawain’s meticulous work with conservation/restoration of historic and fine art photographs.
We set up the site to be served securely with SSL using a free certificate (note: if you’re still paying annually for an SSL certificate, there are good free options now).
By utilizing caching, minifying scripts and stylesheets, and reworking how images were being handled, we increased site speed and performance significantly. This will improve the site’s SEO and keep his visitors happier, too.
