Journals, Columns and a Short Story

As most newspapers have discovered, the easiest web content to produce is the stuff you've already written.

Without further ado, allow me to dig into my filing cabinet and display some of my short stories and columns. The columns, I wrote those while studying(*) at USC and working at the Daily Trojan.

The columns are arranged in chronological order, which doesn't necessarily mean worst to best. If you read only one, read this one

  I laughed, I cried, I nearly died.

  This one is really really bitter.

• More of USC's Bureaucratic Idiocy, Done Up by the Letter
  A rant, but a rant with a point.

• Expect the Unexpected, Or at Least Have Fun With It
  People dig animal stories.

• Fly Fishing Is Really Really Crazy
  I went on a rafting trip with my father, and this was the result.

• The Last Student Leaving Has to Turn Out the Lights
  A farewell column, but the thank yous are restricted to the bottom bit, so it's still worth reading.
